The most beautiful flash...

...in the VUUUULD! :-)

Seriously, sick and creepy but hysterical all at once. Only thing I'd have done is lower the background volume when the one character said, "ATOMIC JESUS CHRIST!" I didn't really realize what she said until the 2nd viewing, and it's just too hysterical to be missed! :-)

Loved the others, too. Great - if not sick and twisted - work! :-)

thank youuuuuuuuuuuu

???

I don't get the punchline at all. Is this another one like that "I can't let you do that, Mr. Knox" joke? :-?

Nice work! :-)

Great flick! :-) I do know that the bigger you make the original, the better it resamples when you shrink it. Make sample rates as high as you can for the original, and shrink the aspect ratio/sound quality as little as you need to. Keep the original large files and if you need to make another one even smaller (or at ANY other resolution), always make them from the original large files, not a prior output file. That reduces transcription drift.

Keep 'em coming! :-)

DangerousBob responds:

thats a good point, I'll try that next time.

Love these things...

Never played Minecraft, but people portray it so well in these things, I really don't need to - I can hate those creepers just fine without ever having to meet one. Nice work! :-)

Falconer02 responds:

Thanks!

I'm assuming it's good, but would not play.

Based on everyone else's reviews, I'm giving it high ratings, but it wouldn't play for me. I'm only mentioning it b/c you mentioned having tech issues making it. I dunno' if that's related to why it wouldn't play or not, but it crashed my flash session (I had to reload the frame & then close the window real quick to be able to make the browser work again). I'm using Chrome (latest stable release) on Kubuntu 10.10 (a linux platform).

I'm only putting this here in case you're interested in tech issues, not to gripe. I'll probably be able to watch this for real in Windows later on. If you're not interested in the tech details, then never mind & just disregard this. In any case, keep 'em coming! :-)

KhanhCPham responds:

thanks you for the review because I feel it is important for everyone to watch my movie without any mishap. I will be extra careful when I make my next project and make sure every scene is playable on all computers. I did posted the movie on youtube for people that cannot watch on newgrounds.

Confusing, but good.

Not bad. Lots of interesting subtle animation quirks (like stationary textures on moving clothes) and just creepy enough to make you want to know what the thing in the box is. Do you plan on doing any more to show where the "mask"-thing (or whatever it is) came from? Love to see it if you do. :-)

tecatense - In the U.S., there's a Christmas carol called "What Child Is This?" set to the same tune as "Greensleeves". Yah, I know - it annoys me, too. ;-) Though it -is- a pretty song and fun to play. :-)

turtleco responds:

I'm glad the ending intrigued you more than annoyed you.

and yeah, is just Greensleeves "the Christmas carol version" I guess

LOL!

Loved it! :-) Only thing I'd have added is someone pointing out that by drinking the water, their boss has become a cannibal. ;-) Great work!

WhiteLightning responds:

Yeah, that was just an extra implied joke for you observant people :)

Wow.

This looks like it must have taken forever to make! Lots of complexity and activity - not a single space of screen is unused during the entire animation, and not a single instant goes by where something isn't happening. You even clearly put some serious time into all the lip-syncing you did - excellent work! The perspective changes were a bit unreal, but I think you probably did that on purpose - it's a nice animation effect either way, so even if you didn't just say you did. ;-) Thanks for making & sharing! :-)

SERATO responds:

thanks so much for your comment, it make me glad, i try make animations more complex with diferent perspectives and diferent things happen during just in one scene. better action, more emotion.

thanks for watch it

Dayum.

I thought this was going to be a waste of time, but once it started I just couldn't look away. So simple, yet captivating. If you'd like to do something similar, try the same general setup, but use the color-contrasting patterns that make you see colors that aren't there. You know, like that one where you stare at a purple dot that orbits the center of a gray screen - after a few seconds, your eyes see green dots everywhere trailing the purple dot. It's so convincing, but the green dots aren't really there. If you can use tricks like that on top of everything you've already done, you'd have some pretty seriously funky/trippy eye candy. It's good as is, just sayin if you want something to take it up a notch, check into the kind of optical illusion I describe and add a few of those tricks. Great work! :-)

BadBoyMcCoy responds:

thank you sir, il look into it

Well, good for a start.

Okay, so you can animate. Now animate something more worth watching. :-)

As for the preloader image, don't sweat it. There are of course those who will blast you almost no matter what you do, but by and large, sane people won't be too concerned with that sort of thing so long as you're not trying to make it look like your own work - as long as you give credit where credit is due, most folks are okay with letting you "borrow" their stuff, though if you are able to ask them for permission in advance, you'd be making friends if you did so. :-)

TheSlightMutation responds:

Yes I know haha I'm working on a project right now. This was just for feedback.

And that's what I was guessing lol but I just wanted to play it safe. :P

Beauty is where you see it.
