Potential is there

You definitely have potential. :-) Only thing I would suggest at this point is to go with more shapes, you've got way too many circles and lines in this one - any other shape is fine in addition to circles & lines, but if you could forsake the plain circles & lines completely, I think you'd make some really rockin' shorts. Good luck, & welcome to the wonderful world of flash creation! :-)

RodentPrincessSakura responds:

Thank you for your opinion. I really appreciate it. I know that it got really repetitive with the shapes, but I'm trying to figure out different ways of making the same shapes and symbols over and over again besides using the library. Right now, I'm working on two shorts that are going to be put together into one flash. It's going to look way more advanced than this one (a huge portion of that is because I will be using a higher fps) and I'm hoping that I don't fall on my face with it. Thank you once again. It's really helpful!

Can't read text

I can't read the dark text because it's against a dark background and rather small if it's to be read against that background. Would probably work if it was about twice as big.

SprintT responds:

Are you sure it wasn't just you? No one else seems to have had that problem. But I will work on making the text readable by anyone.

No, it wasn't on the Death Penalty...

To dude just before me - it wasn't the DP, it was about a war. I normally wouldn't have liked something that someone asked to have put on the front page - something about that just doesn't feel right to me - but this was very good, and I'm glad you did ask. I was surprised. Your work on this really shows through, and I hope you're willing to make more. :-) Only 1 suggestion - the writing was hard to read, so by the time it came and went, I only got about half of it. But still, I got enough to be useful. Thanks for such an interesting clip! :-)t

notorious responds:

thanks for the good review glad you liked it so much.

Too funny

Way too funny, I liked it! This would be easily a good series. :-)

ActiveObjectX responds:

haha, a series? Of what exactly?

Getting better! :-)

Sweet! :-) The little thing at the end as Reiko looked on (which I shall refrain from identifying d/t spoilerage) was a cute touch. Very "Pet Semetary-ish", if you recall the little boy's death early in the movie.

TaintedInk responds:

I saw Pet Sematary once many years ago but I can't remember anything except that Herman Munster was in it. Oh well. Glad you enjoyed the cartoon!

Hell Mary! :-)

They don't teach you to say -that- in Catholic school! Dayum! Loved it! The only thing I thought was kinda' odd is that the Queen apparently drives a red pickup truck. I wonder - is it a standard or an automatic? The merry old Queen of E shifting gears & chewin' terbacky - quite an image. Thanks for the hilarious short! :-)

Funkylikamonkey responds:

hehe, i was waiting for somone to notice the queens car. thanks for watching

Very nice and flowy...

I love it. The concept is terrific. Only problem I see is that it's too short, but maybe you just wanted to be sure it was worth your time first. Well, in my opinion, it most definitely is. It's kind of like watching a semi-acoustic lava lamp - there's no "plot" or "story" per se, but it's quite enjoyable nonetheless. Keep it up! :-)

UberStreet responds:

Yeah, this was a short version I did as a class project, but if it gets a good response, I'd consider making a longer more detailed version. Thanks for the review.

LoL!

I could see that one coming from a mile away, but it was still a hoot when it happened! You could probably make a whole bunch along the same lines, with kids toys that end up unexpectedly working like the real thing. Good job! :-)

Cra7ed responds:

Thank you. Did you really see that one comming? I like the series idea, but what toy to do next?...

They were both funny, but...

...I actually liked the Spiderman one better. Both were okay, though, so "Good job!" on all fronts. :-)

Kamikazetomato responds:

High praise from a level 9 dark sider! Thank you!

David Firth? I don't see it.

I'm not sure what that other poster saw that reminded him of DF's work, but from what I know of DF's work, this flash was much too straightforward - I never would've confused it for his style. Then again, I haven't seen -all- of his films, just a bunch, so maybe there's something I missed.

For it's own self, I liked it. Only thing I might change is the voice for the man - it just didn't seem to match the way he was drawn, not quite sure why. But maybe that's just me. Anywho, keep 'em coming! :-)

Jewelltoons responds:

Its not like DF, and thankyou, My friend did the voice of the guy, It wasnt the best match in my oppinion either, but w/e

Beauty is where you see it.
