Not bad, but...

...audio needs a bit of work. Try not to suck on the microphone when speaking. ;-) Seriously though, something's munging the audio - if I'm the only one who says that, though, then assume it's my system speakers or some such. Either way and sound issue aside, nice toon. :-)

[I Am Sadness]

Blammed b-4 I realized there was more than just...

To other viewers: There is more than just the first scene, it just takes forever to get there. I'm only saying this so you don't do like I did and rate it low before realizing that it wasn't just a still-life with blinking lights. :-) It takes about 2 minutes for anything to happen, but something does eventually start happening.

To the author - sorry about giving it 0/5, didn't know it had more to it until I read other reviews. I'd give it at least a 4/5 right now if I could undo my prior rating. The animation was good by the time it came around, but it took so long - seriously, I never would have waited that long for the action to start if I hadn't read other comments indicating that it eventually did. I get the "setting up calmness" aspect of it, but it would've been just as effective if it were a fourth as long. Had it been about that much shorter for that first scene, it would have been perfect all the way through. But the waiting was just overkill. Still, I'd un-blam it if I could, but I honestly had no idea it was going to lead anywhere beyond that scene. I waited like 2 minutes and nothing happened. That really rather detracted from the overal "cool quality" of the piece, as it really was pretty good once things actually got started. Keep it up! :-)

I can't believe how well...

...you did "lip-syncing" and facial expressions, all on a - what? 10x8 pixel grid or so? Lip-syncing - I never would've even thought of trying to do that with so few pixels. But you actually did it. Nice job! Funny material, too! :-)

thanks! im really glad you like it and if I had to guess how many ways i could kill elmo I'd say..... 90000000. but i doubt i'll get to make that many episodes! haha

[Predators Parody]

Not bad.

I think you did a fairly good job. I liked it. If you'd like constructive suggestions, I'd say for better comedic effect, add more quick, almost-too-fast-to-hear sound effects. Like "sproing!" or "BUZZ!" or "ding-ding!" - tiny things like that at just the right moment to highlight a character's expression or the ridiculousness of the situation can really add to the humor. Also quick scenes here and there - like a very fast, almost-too-fast-to-see shot where you back up from the scene & show the preadtor right behind the guy, wearing a tutu. Not too much, of course - that would be too corny. But it would elevate the humor just a bit. Even so, I liked it fine as-is, so these aren't critiques, just ideas on how to get more of the mood I think you were shooting for. :-)

You are totally right, this animation is boring without these elements, I didn't see what is missing there, but when you wrote this it is so obvious, in my next animations I will use these things, definitely the sounds. Really thank you!

I liked it. Very interesting stuff to read while listening to the song. What program did you use to alter your voice? That's an effect I always wanted to use in some tunes. Anywho, nice work & keep it coming! :-)

...but I couldn't hear anything. Not loud enough to understand it, at least. If I'm the only one who says that then never mind, it's probably just my speakers. Good work on all the rest of it, though!

i had that same complaint last time, thats why i made text a main part of the movie, to offset the bad audio.
the next one of this something, i gues i could call it a series, will have better sound. i finally have money to invest into my projects now. this mean mics and buying sound software.
ps my current project is music video with music from monty python, fun.

Fun fact, I couldn't find any rubber glove to make the sound, so I took my whip (yeah I don't have rubber gloves but I have whip) and I cracked it into microphone so glove snapping is actually whip cracking :D

Not bad, but...

...it's so friggin' slow as to be almost obnoxious. At least the first part. Don't get me wrong - it's a good toon, the technical skill is quite good. It's easy to go overboard when trying to make something tragic & melodramatic. You did on this one, though just a little, not too terribly much.To make the pace more tolerable, thore should be more going on in the animation for the viewer to focus on. Even just leaves blowing in the wind or sounds in the background of things incidental in the environment of the story.

Still, overall, great job! :-) Looking forward to more. :-)
