Kilroy was here....

"Mr Roboto" was my favorite Styx song way, way back in the day. Kinda' cool to see it set to flash after so long. It's good enough as is, but it'd be really great if you could do the whole song!

No category that fits for why I liked this

For all the categories they have for us to rate submissions with, there isn't any one of them that explains why I liked this enough to give it a 9 overall. I didn't care so much for the graphics style, and there wasn't much violence. The sound was good enough, but that's not why I liked it, either. As for the graphics, I think that for a place like Newgrounds when you use real pictures in a flash, more effort should be taken to "animate" them. A series of still shots is okay and all, but actual animation is even better. All that notwithstanding, for reasons I can't quite pin down, I liked it enough to give it a 9. Hope to see more from you! :-)

Hell Mary! :-)

They don't teach you to say -that- in Catholic school! Dayum! Loved it! The only thing I thought was kinda' odd is that the Queen apparently drives a red pickup truck. I wonder - is it a standard or an automatic? The merry old Queen of E shifting gears & chewin' terbacky - quite an image. Thanks for the hilarious short! :-)

hehe, i was waiting for somone to notice the queens car. thanks for watching

Memories...

I was hoping with the tune you were using that a few more obvious RHPS references would show up in the animation, but it was still okay even without 'em. :-)

Nyerp, narry a single word...

It was drawn and animated well enough, but I could hardly understand anything they were saying. The sound was all "blaring" and distorted. It looks like it -might- have been funny, but I couldn't tell for sure. :-(

More blood

I'm probably just repeating what someone else has already said, but I neglected to read the reviews prior to making my own. It was quite a rad flick, I enjoyed it and it was a good job. Just one improvement I would suggest would be to have more blood after the eye-gouging scene. Satan would surely have that computer -drenched- in blood were he really to show up, would he not? ;-)

As close as I've ever seen...

...to a flash that's too long. ;-) It's -not- too long, but it comes close. I love the story, and I look forward to seeing the next chapter! :-)

Very nice and flowy...

I love it. The concept is terrific. Only problem I see is that it's too short, but maybe you just wanted to be sure it was worth your time first. Well, in my opinion, it most definitely is. It's kind of like watching a semi-acoustic lava lamp - there's no "plot" or "story" per se, but it's quite enjoyable nonetheless. Keep it up! :-)

UberStreet responds:

Yeah, this was a short version I did as a class project, but if it gets a good response, I'd consider making a longer more detailed version. Thanks for the review.

Quite intriguing

I was simply looking for Dahlia from "Silent Hill", but this turned out to be a good bit more interesting than that. Very creepy and cool mood created with the almost "chanting" clinical voice in the background, the occasional loud effects up front... Very visually and acoustically... "disturbing", but in a very nice way. I'll be looking for more. Thanks!

This may not be very useful, but...

...okay, I liked it. I really don't see anything that needs improvement, other than that you could, of course, make it longer. But then that's almost a given on many of these shorts. It's a very cute scene for depicting those particular few lines of script.

Beauty is where you see it.
