To Hell with self-righteousness...

I liked it. The line at the end once he gets his wings is priceless. I'd take the "offense" anyone might have felt at the religious aspects of this film and wear it like a badge of honor, as if people are getting their panties _that_ much in a wad over it, they've clearly missed the point. C'est tout, merci. ;-)

Oddly sweet

I couldn't really give it a 10 on any individual element, but the overall experience really was more than the sum of its parts. My only complaint is that it was too short - I would've enjoyed watching the goings on between the two characters a little while longer. :-)

Your message wasn't lost on everybody

I'd seen a negatory comment or two regarding why anyone might make such a short seemingly sympathetic to characters like the Columbine killers. Truth is, like it or not, they were victims, too, in their own way. People may not like to hear that, but it's just the plain and simple truth. Their actions weren't justified, that isn't the message I got, but their actions didn't just emerge from a vacuum. Something hurt them, something not of their own making (namely other kids, self-righteous punks who thought it was their god-given right to persecute people for being different). Don't feel sorry for them, I don't, but don't pretend like they alone created the situation that set them off.

One of the coolest I've seen

This was perhaps the coolest submission I've seen yet. This animation clearly took a lot of work, I love the attention to detail. The ear candy isn't bad, either.

Beauty is where you see it.
