Hail to a true master! :-)

Dude, I don't think there's such a thing as watching TOO MANY of -your- vids. Always at least a belly-chuckle, if not an outright belly-laugh. Do you happen to tune professionally? Whether so or no, I'm damned sure you'd be great at it.

In other tunes you do like the X-Men & F4 & such, most of the humor comes from inside jokes, satirical plot references and such, requiring a knowledge of the story & characters if one is to "get it". This is the first flash of yours I'd seen with original characters, and it was just as funny without inside jokes & stuff. IOW, you got true talent and an original sense of humor. Keep 'em coming! :-)

A bit too unexplained for my usual tastes, but...

...nonetheless, it was an excellent flash. I grade on quality more than whether or not I fully "get" the contents, so for effort & quality you get 10/10 & 5/5 from me. Love your other sci-fi toons, also. Keep it up! :-)

Nice work. :-)

The animation went well with the song - and a very good choice of song it was. :)

You actually had the nerve...

...to put a "Replay" option! LoL! :-) I'm going to assume I just don't get the humor in this joke. But as long as it means something to you, I have no complaints about it. :-)

ArmadilloPillow responds:

The replay was added as a sort of irony because there are no replays in life.

Loved it!

Excellent story beginning, looking forward to the next episode. :-) Only thing I might suggest - and it's a really trivial deal, I'm just a "detail" man - is to smooth the lines of the drawings. They look a bit scratchy & rough. If you're not aware of it already, Gimp (opensource freeware) lets you create smooth lines of any shape just by manipulating a number of "nodes" on a line.

Even so, great work! :-)

avidlebon responds:

Thanks for the critique! I do pretty much all of my illustration in flash, and while the pencil tool gives me a lot smoother lines the vector brush gives it more of a traditional feel. I suppose it's all preference, sometimes smooth does look better- I did that with delineation, but that animation also took a LOT longer to do that way. Occasionally I do import images from other programs for special effects (like Photoshop or Gimp) but that makes files get really big really fast.

Nice!

Who doesn't like a little pointless slaughter and senseless, sadistic violence after a long, hard day at work? Lovely little "shed all dark inhibitions" piece of work. Hope to see more like this! :-)

ZILLIS responds:

Glad you enjoyed it! I'm working on another episode right now.
Thanks for the score and support!

Loved your2nd flick, this doesn't seem like...

...the same artist made it. :-? I understand the humor in what you said the flash was -supposed- to portray, but if I hadn't read what you intended, I'd never have known it was the point. You did so much better on the 2nd one, though, I have to assume this is just some sort of first-timer myopia or some such - nobody knows what you're thinking unless you convey it somehow in the flash. I'd have gotten it without your explanation if the "Eww, gross!" character had replied, "Oh, in that case, never mind" (or something similar).

Unless you really just don't care, in which case, ignore this. I can understand that, not caring, btw - it's not an insult or put-down or anything for me to suggest it. You make flash for you, that's more than fine. :-) Still think your 2nd one totally rocked, especially next to this. Keep makin' 'em however you like 'em, though, even if nobody "gets it" but you. :-)

ZILLIS responds:

I think your review is fair. Keep in mind, there are some people who get the joke immediately without "eww, gross" man having to say anything (though those people are assuredly in the minority).
Other than a potential inclusion to a series of several simple one frame gags, this is just a throw away experiment, that I happen to think is quite funny. I love their mouths! I accomplished the style I was going for. I'm very happy with it.
Your honesty is appreciated, good sir.

I like it!

Novel concept, surprise that. Great sense of humor! :-) Only thing I'd suggest is reducing the length of silence between some of the spoken lines - most of it was in beat, but in one or two places it was a beat or two off. That's just a minor detail, of course - lots of effort was put into this and it shows. Keep 'em coming! :-)

Lol - "PERVERT!"

Squirrels - buzzed - pot - nuts. What's not to love? :-)

Not quite my cup of tea, but...

...excellent work just the same! I know _I_ wouldn't be able to make this half as good, so who cares if it's not the kind of flash I usually go for? It's a lot of effort & time invested, clearly, and very good quality just the same. Kudos! :-)

Beauty is where you see it.
