[Machete Overkill]

I thought it was very well put-together

For a stick movie, at least. This type of stick movie, I like. Some folks do sticks because they're simply either no good at real drawing or they're too lazy to try. But your drawing's good, and you put some effort into this so I don't think you used 'em just because you're lazy. I don't really see what most of the negative reviewers are harping about - it might not be a "masterpiece extravaganze" type big-budget flick, but it's tons better than 99% of the stuff that gets posted to Newgrounds. Most of the really negative posters, I suspect, have never really tried to animate anything. When you actually try to make a flick of your own, you learn a thing or two - it's not as easy as all that. Keep 'em coming, dude! :-)

Definitely could use some spit & polish, but it looks like you put some effort into this. That matters most. If you want assistance with the English, I'll be glad to re-word your sentences. Je connais un petit peu francaise, so perhaps I can be of some use to you. :-)

Kinda' interesting. The music was a perfect fit, that's for sure. Kinda' creepy in a neat way. Naturally, it could've been longer. But it's okay even a little short. :-)

On par with Burton, I'd say

Several parts of this flick evoked a feeling not at all unike that feeling one gets when watching a Tim Burton flick. I'd love to see this as a full-length movie - great story and very professional animation. Very detailed and chock full of the kind of subtlety that makes a story seem "alive". Kudos! :-)

Didn't see it coming.

It doesn't happen often, but I didn't guess the ending at ALL before it actually happened. Adorable. Might have to try that someday. ;-)
