From the looks of it...

...you've been paying attention in class! Good job! Look forward to seeing you put together some actual stories! :-)

Duplicate submission, sort of

I saw the prior submission of this, but isn't this one longer? The first time around i only saw it up to the point where he shot the other dude. If it's an entire resubmission, maybe my browser just crapped out or something. But it's good enough to keep either way, imho.

What can possibly be left to be said?

I'm sure it's all been said by now, what else can I say? Just repeat what you must have heard a dozen times already - AWESOME! You captured the essence of a good trip gone bad (or a bad trip gone good, depending on your perspective). And so many subtle details... you ROCK!!! :-)

A future classic!

I loved it! The message, the symbolism... And delivered in a visually and audibly "tasty" manner. GREAT JOB!

Thanks! Your review is very flattering.

Well, it's a good start, at least.

You asked for feedback, so I'll just say that I think the sound should be a bit higher quality, even if it increases file size somewhat. Other than that, it looked like a good beginning. Interested to see what direction this goes.

Excellent tension-builder!

The tension-building was excellent in this one! I know it had -me- in suspense... Good job! :-)

You only had an hour?

I thought that was pretty decent for just having an hour. Short, but not too shabby.

I remember the story well.

I remember the story as if I just read it yesterday. This short clip was good in its way, it caught the meaning behind the title at least. I think it would be quite cool if you actually -did- do a flash based on the book, but understand why you might not want to. Still, thanks for the memory.

Strange is right, but intriguing

You were right - it's strange. But also intriguing. Now I'm just going to try to figure out if there's any deliberate symbology present, or if it's more of a mish-mash, "ink blot" type of thing where you see what's meaningful to you even if it's not what was intended. Nice job. :-)

idiotmachine responds:

yeah you're right - went for the inkblot angle with a bit of dabbling to see what happens. unplanned flashes are fun. but often more frustrating than rewarding!

Awesome vid, could use better quality of sound

I love the animation that went into this! Only thing I would change is the sound quality on the song. It would be worth waiting a little while longer for the thing to start to hear a better copy of the song. But still great, even with that! :-)

Beauty is where you see it.
