They were both funny, but...

...I actually liked the Spiderman one better. Both were okay, though, so "Good job!" on all fronts. :-)

High praise from a level 9 dark sider! Thank you!

I don't think I'd recommend doing this again

The material was funny, but I listened to it with and then without watching the animation, and to be honest, it was much funnier without the animation. Not sure what it is, but flash doesn't seem to be very conducive to the humor of stand-up routines. Maybe if you surrounded yourself with battling stick figures or something. Or if you're determined to do this in Flash, perhaps show an animation of the events you're describing instead of just you moving around on an otherwise empty stage. Just some suggestions, take 'em for what they're worth - the material was funny either way. Good luck! :-)

YES! I've finally SAVED a flash! :-)

Hey! I finally got to see the cool "Matrix" screen that comes up when you save a movie... ummm... anywho, sorry 'bout that, I'm easily amused. ;-) Anywho, very well put-together in such a way as to look like it was falling apart. I loved it! Make more! Please! :-)

I wouldn't call this a stick flick

It rocked! But I wouldn't consider this "stick" animation - they have too many features (expressions, fingers, muscles, etc...). Maybe a "blob" animation or something, but not "stick". Still, even with the stick name, it ROCKS! Can't wait for more! :-)

Interesting package

I mean the flash. ;-) I liked the idea. Just one thing - the "Chalkjam" link brought up the same external animation that the other link brough up (the one that you had to go offsite to see the synced up version). Unless I did something wrong, but maybe you want to check it just to be sure. Any event, I liked! Thanks! :-)

Don't apologize

Don't apologize for this-or-that, it doesn't matter if it's mouse-drawn or not. What matters is the amount of effort you put into it. This took some effort, that was appreciated. I'm sure a tablet-drawn version would look smoother and all, but you could have a smoother-looking animation be much crappier than this. So I say, "Good job!" I liked it. Keep 'em coming! :-)

Not quite sure why, but...

...it was a little on the short side, but I must say I got a bit of a belly-laugh out of that one. "Poof!" The emote baloons were too cute. :-)

David Firth? I don't see it.

I'm not sure what that other poster saw that reminded him of DF's work, but from what I know of DF's work, this flash was much too straightforward - I never would've confused it for his style. Then again, I haven't seen -all- of his films, just a bunch, so maybe there's something I missed.

For it's own self, I liked it. Only thing I might change is the voice for the man - it just didn't seem to match the way he was drawn, not quite sure why. But maybe that's just me. Anywho, keep 'em coming! :-)

Jewelltoons responds:

Its not like DF, and thankyou, My friend did the voice of the guy, It wasnt the best match in my oppinion either, but w/e

Glitch?

It may just be my system, I dunno', but just at the point where they were beginning to make the TV show, the "Play" button popped up again while the dialog continued going on in the background. I pressed it again and it started playing again from the beginning, but over top of the part that was still playing from the first time I pressed play. If it's just my system, then "never mind"... Otherwise, looks okay, I see some characters drawn much better than others so I assume the ones that aren't drawn as smoothly are as you want them. So no complaints there, just mentioning it 'cuz someone else seemed to notice only the ones that weren't drawn so smoothly.

InfamousD responds:

It's not your system son, it's called part 1, part 2 will be up soon, I can assure you.

Definitely a keeper!

That was quite, how to say, "awesome"! I'm not sure if I "got it" as "it" was intended to be "gotten", but it was a pleasure to watch either way. I am curious whenever someone puts together something like this as to whether they included much deliberate symbology, or if they were just focused on creating an enjoyable experience independant of any underlying meaning. Great job in any case! :-)

Beauty is where you see it.
